Well!!!
Battle of the sexes has Miss Lilly, a combative pom, trumping Mr. Rutgar from his well fitting place. Will it never cease!?
Both little furry children really like the secure feeling of being comforably surrounded by 3/4" cedar that's been painstakingly hand fitted. I think that if they were aware of it, that they, too, would resonate with pride that they are sitting upon West Kootenay Singing Forest spruce boards that were slated for the burn pile or the 'chipper.'
The Singing Forest is situated in British Columbia's rare Temporate Inland Rainforest and is presently home to the Inland Cariboo, a species threatened by excessive logging practices and stress inducing incursions of insensitive snowmobile enthusiasts.
There is so much 'angst' in the West Kootenays about our Inland Rain Forest, The Singing Forest and The Inland Cariboo that this spruce wood resonates with strong spiritual significance. I feel very priviledged that I am recycling and working this wood and sharing it's resonance.
